In a strange world, this guy is really strange. How could this happen? They were the missing links?

There are two theories to explain the to be developed as the platypus, what it is today. The first (Theory shows B), that parents of monotremes own branch, which is significantly different from the evolutionary development of marsupials and placentals formed. This change is likely to have occurred 135 million years go by the beginning of the Cretaceous period. Marsupials and placentals split some 135-65 million years ago.

The second (a theory) was proposed by Gregory (1947) and was not popular, the years before 1970. He said that there have separated between 135-65 million years ago, the placentals and marsupials, in his own way, and later monotremes and marsupials their own way.

Evidence for this theory is that the reproductive system of the monotremes and marsupials are very similar. Embryos, and both have a certain amount of sediment trapped in the gestation period. The only difference is that monotremes have closed shells of the entire pregnancy, while deposits marsupials only imprisoned for almost two thirds of the unsubscribeIon period.

Have you deny that evolution exists?

One question: What has exploded (Big Bang)? For this theory into practice, or choose eternal matter (who believe that an explosion and all the "developed" point of departure), or an eternal God. Therefore, the evolution of a system of belief. "Whether he likes it or not, you have to take a step of faith to believe one way or another to the theory of evolution, in any way, faith and beliefs are still required.

But it is strange, because she has no relatives. Compare with the ginkgo tree.

The platypus is a mammal Monotreme class, not alone. These things are a step in the evolution of mammals, the mammalian proto have survived to modern times. In a sense, a missing link.

It is better to collect from infants and to give all in a bag and fed to a type of breast tissue that sit around and eat them for the whole day. Most children have survived the breeding age.

Uh, so if you do not exactly understand the evolution can explain the platypus has features that adapt to their environment develops, you understand the people have no place?

Hmmmm ... a very interesting question. One of the few not only boring people silly.

Well, you've likely that the platypus is an animal known monotremes (lays eggs).

This could be because the platypus is born, with its many enemies, and therefore could not take care of young people who live, or live with young people who live in them. Therefore, it is adapted to lay eggs, instead.

However, my knowledge on this subject is not much to expand and therefore it can be very bad.

Interesting question!
