How do I Intall Side Console Steering on a Tiller Boat? - building aluminum boat floor

I av 14 Track 14 boat bar. This is a boat of about 90 aluminum fishing or on the ground to measure. I finally install a side console and steering wheel and cable steeing accelerator. What I know is, if the system of government that can use my situation when it comes to the make and model of the acutal outboard motor? What sort of kits would be required? The engine I have is the early 90s Motor Mercury 9.9 short shaft. I know I can get the gas, but I'm not sure how to go about configuring this type of accommodation. Do you think you can find an already built-in console, or it would be better if I made myself?

Yes, there are "generic" alum consoles available that screw into the supply boat and a mounting base for the direction and throttle outboard motors, etc., large teams control "remote" kit and fit the standard wheel and cable. You can add up to a few hundred to make a him. Monark Boats in Arkansas Check the availability to build a factory.

Here is a good forum on the creation of one side of the console to a small alum boat. Take a look at # 10 with a field of alum to the switch remote start / box mounted to the gas, and even a clear direction, instead of a wheel.

This system is much simpler and easier to install.

Hope this helps
