Okay ladies, anyone ever hear of atypia in a pap result??? - atypia pap smear

I have just the results back from my father fall and said to show a condition called atypical. It does not look so serious, because he says it should only be considered in further 6 months into consideration. I've never had an abnormal Pap smear back, I am a little worried. So if someone did before .... had Please help me feel better about it! Thanks
